About

About MindfulnessHub

MindfulnessHub is a collection of plain-language guides on mindfulness, meditation, stress, anxiety, breathing and daily practice, written for people who want calmer routines and less reactivity. The site is small and still growing, and each category currently holds only a few guides.

MindfulnessHub is a research-based reference: the guides are written from published guidance and checked against it, not from personal testing or clinical experience. See how we check our advice.

Each article starts from a specific question, such as how to start meditating or whether breathing exercises help with anxiety, and answers it first before adding detail and context.

How to read the guides

The guides are general educational information, not medical advice or therapy, and mindfulness is not a substitute for care. If stress, anxiety or low mood is affecting your daily life, talk to a qualified clinician or mental health professional about your own situation. Some people find that certain exercises, such as breath holding or long silent sitting, are uncomfortable, so stop if something feels wrong. In an emergency, call local emergency services (911 in the US); if you are in a mental-health crisis in the US, call or text 988.
